The Eastern Theater Command, located in the northern and southern parts of Taiwan, simultaneously organized drills on the blockade and control of key ports and other subjects.

On October 14th, the Eastern Theater Command of the People’s Liberation Army of China conducted simultaneous drills in the northern and southern waters around Taiwan. These exercises included key scenarios such as port blockades, regional power seizures, maritime assaults, and land strikes. The aim was to assess the military’s capabilities in multi-domain coordination, system confrontation, and precision strikes.
