Penn winning streak brings joy to the whole city
The collegiate American football season kicked off on August 24, and as of October 6, we’ve concluded Week 6 of the season. The Penn State University team has been on a winning streak, claiming victory in all five of their games so far.
On October 5, the UCLA Bruins, hailing from Los Angeles, California, faced Penn State at their home stadium, where they played in front of a crowd of 110,47 enthusiastic fans. Unfortunately for the Bruins, they fell short with a score of 11-27.
The home team had strong expectations going into the game, as they dominated possession for a total of 27 minutes and 3 seconds. They consistently racked up points across three quarters, leading the first half at 14-3.
Despite not committing any turnovers throughout the game, UCLA struggled against Penn State’s tight defense, managing to advance only 260 yards and scoring just once. In contrast, Penn State also maintained a clean record, accumulating a total of 322 yards with one touchdown pass and two rushing touchdowns.
Looking ahead, Penn State’s next matchup will take them on the road against the USC Trojans in Los Angeles.
