In a recent piece from “The Hollywood Reporter,” sources close to Meghan Markle, Prince Harry’s wife, have revealed that her staff refers to her as the “difficult Duchess.” Insiders indicate that her behavior creates an atmosphere of fear and that she often resists advice.

The publication notes that several former employees of the Sussexes have come forward, highlighting the resignation of their chief of staff, Josh Kettler, just three months into his position in August, which has led to the formation of what some are calling the “Sussex Survivors Club.”

One insider shared, “Everyone is afraid of Meghan. She belittles others and doesn’t take advice. Both of them are poor decision-makers who frequently change their minds.” This individual painted a contrasting picture of Harry, describing him as “very charming and entirely unpretentious,” but suggested he often enables Meghan’s more troubling behavior.

“The Times” previously reported in 2022 that while at Kensington Palace, Meghan faced allegations of bullying, causing “emotional distress,” and humiliating her staff. It was noted that two personal assistants were forced to leave, and her conduct was formally reported to Simon Case, who was the press secretary for Prince William at the time. This led to an investigation by Buckingham Palace, though the findings were never released. Harry and Meghan’s representatives have claimed the situation was part of a “calculated smear campaign.”

Sources in “The Hollywood Reporter” have also pointed out that some American staff members feel especially discontented with Meghan, citing instances of her throwing tantrums and sending furious emails at 5 a.m., which has led to her internal nickname. One insider described her as “incredibly ruthless, like a dictator in high heels, storming around and issuing orders. I’ve seen her make grown men cry.”

These candid accounts sharply contrast with the more amiable image Meghan often aims to project. Harry and Meghan’s current spokesperson opted not to comment on these allegations.
