Clear love, only for China – Set foot on the red land
In a vast nation covering over 9.6 million square kilometers, red resources are intricately woven into the fabric of our land, each site serving as a testament to the rich historical journey of our Party.
From the banks of the Yudu River to the peak of Bao Tower, from the ancient city of Zunyi to the revolutionary heartland of Yimeng, and from the Eight-Sided Pavilion to Orange Isle, General Secretary Xi Jinping has walked these significant sites time and again since the 18th National Congress of the Communist Party. His visits honor the deep roots of revolutionary faith while drawing inspiration and strength from the Party’s illustrious past.
Yan’an, a revolutionary sacred site, holds a special place in General Secretary Xi’s heart, as he has visited it numerous times throughout his life. He reminisced, “Every time I came to Yan’an during my time as a sent-down youth, I felt spiritually rejuvenated.”
At Yudu, where the Central Red Army’s Long March began, the General Secretary has reminded the Party of its origins, stating, “We must always remember where the red regime came from, how New China was established, and cherish the socialism with Chinese characteristics that our Party has created.”
During a visit to the Memorial Hall of the Cross-River Campaign in Anhui, he emphasized, “At all times, we must not forget our original aspiration or our mission. We can never lose sight of our roots with the people. We must always remain loyal servants of the people.”
The true value of these red resources lies not just in their role as witnesses to the Party’s glorious history, but also in their ability to provoke deep reflections and provide spiritual nourishment, even today.
As we stand on this red soil and look ahead, we must carry forward the spirit of our past, ensuring that the legacy of our red heritage is cherished and passed down through generations.
