Wulun raids illegal casinos, seizes gambling money and drugs_1
On October 17, the Wulun Police Department carried out a significant operation against an illegal gambling establishment located in the 1400 block of 17th Avenue, following numerous complaints from concerned residents.
The Special Resources Section (SRS) of the police executed a search warrant, resulting in the arrest of four individuals at the site. Officers seized a variety of items during the raid, including three firearms, ammunition, an undisclosed amount of cash, illegal drugs, and several unauthorized gambling machines. Additionally, they discovered and removed multiple stolen vehicles parked outside the establishment.
The police emphasize that they are fully committed to investigating this case and expressed gratitude to community members for their continued reports on such illegal activities. They stated that both the police department and the city government will pursue criminal and civil penalties against those involved in these dangerous operations, as their actions have negatively impacted community safety.
